The class is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to sew, have never had formal instruction, or are new to machine sewing. This class is for adults (18+).

In this class you will learn the beginning stitches for Geometric Smocking. Included will be a step-by step instruction booklet for creating basic smocking stitches. Stitches that will be taught are Cable, Wave, Baby Wave and Trellis. You will also learn how to tie off an insert to prepare it for smocking and inserting into a garment. The kit for the class will include a Beginning Smocking Book, pre pleated insert, needles and thread.

This class is designed for those who know how to smock but need help constructing a Smocked Garment. You will be required to purchase fabric and patterns at a 10% discount before the first class. This fabric will need to be washed, dried and ironed before the first class. The Teacher will pleat the fabric as part of the class. You will be able to construct a Bishop Dress, a Mary De, a Jeffrey Jon Jon or any Smocked Garment of your choice preferably Children's Corner Patterns. A Sewing Machine and all the tools needed to sew will be needed. There will be a two-week break between the first and second class so you can smock your garment.

Dive into the world of quilting with our Four Block Sampler class. Designed for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this class will guide you through the process of creating a quilt top. You'll learn to read rulers for accurate fabric cutting, follow a cut list, and master essential piecing techniques like strip piecing, half-square triangles, log cabins, and more. We’ll cover how to true up blocks, press seams correctly (an often-overlooked detail that can significantly impact how well your quilt comes together), and assemble your blocks and rows by following detailed diagrams. The pattern will come with the class. The focus of the class is on completing the quilt top. This class is for adults only (18+).

Learn the basics of sewing on knit fabrics. This class is for beginner sewists focusing on construction, not fit. This is a 6-hour course. The teacher will help you pick your pattern and fabric during class. There is no need to buy it ahead of time. Come learn how fun sewing with knits can be! This is an adult class only (18+). We have some great patterns to choose from!

In Sewing 201, students deepen their understanding of garment assembly, learn to adjust patterns to fit, and refine their sewing techniques. This class is for adults only (18+).

Knowledge of Basic Smocking Stitches are required to take this class. In this class, you will learn how to Picture Smock, which is also known as Stacked Cables. Learning to make cable stitches that are stacked on top of each other to resemble a single stitch will be taught. You will learn how to follow a graph (pattern). Included in the kit will be a Picture Smocking Book, pre pleated insert, needles, DMC Thread and graphs to smock from.

Make your own stylish and functional crossbody bag! The Zippy crossbody features four zippered compartments for ultimate on-the-go organization. The Myrna crossbody is larger and features a back slip pocket. Students will make either the Zippy OR the Myrna bag.

Featuring Windham’s Woven Artisan Solids Make the same quilt, one block at a time—together! We’re thrilled to offer the stunning Ramble Block of the Month program in 2026, designed by Tara Faughnan and featuring the beautifully textured Woven Artisan Solids by Windham Fabrics. This year’s quilt includes more intricate techniques such as curved piecing, strip piecing, and no-tear paper piecing. It’s a great skill-builder for confident beginners and experienced quilters looking for a challenge in a fun, supportive environment. ? Looking for something more beginner-friendly? Our 2027 Block of the Month Club will be designed with beginners in mind—perfect if you’re just starting out!

Come learn how to sew! This class is for ages 6-17. Parents, please plan to drop off and pick up your kids! In this 2 hour class we go over the basics of machine sewing. There is no experience required for this class.

This beginner 4 week class is perfect for all 1st-4th graders! We make 1-2 projects each month, and these projects change from month to month. In the Aug-Sept session, students will make a zippered pencil case and simple A-line dress. In the Sept-Oct session, students will make a tote bag and a skirt. In the Oct-Nov session, students will make an apron and drawstring backpack. In the Nov-Dec session, students will make PJ pants and a simple plushie. All supplies are included in the course fee, and students will be able to select their own fabric for the project. This class meets for 90 minutes each week; students will not have a finished project each week.

Sewing for 5th–8th Grade $170 per 4-Week Session Meets Once a Week for 1.5 Hours This class is designed for students ready to enhance their sewing skills with more challenging projects that cover garment construction, pattern reading, and basic alterations. While each week contributes to a larger project, the steady building of skills is our focus.
