Dive into the world of quilting with our Four Block Sampler class. Designed for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this class will guide you through the process of creating a quilt top. You'll learn to read rulers for accurate fabric cutting, follow a cut list, and master essential piecing techniques like strip piecing, half-square triangles, log cabins, and more. We’ll cover how to true up blocks, press seams correctly (an often-overlooked detail that can significantly impact how well your quilt comes together), and assemble your blocks and rows by following detailed diagrams. The pattern will come with the class. The focus of the class is on completing the quilt top. This class is for adults only (18+).

This class is designed for those who are beginning smockers and have never constructed a Smocked Garment before.You will be required to purchase fabric and patterns at a 10% discount before the first class. This fabric will need to be washed, dried and ironed before the first class.

Learn the basics of sewing on knit fabrics. This class is for beginner sewists focusing on construction, not fit. This is a 6-hour course. The teacher will help you pick your pattern and fabric during class. There is no need to buy it ahead of time. Come learn how fun sewing with knits can be! This is an adult class only (18+). We’re thrilled to offer the stunning Ramble Block of the Month program in 2026, designed by Tara Faughnan and featuring the beautifully textured Woven Artisan Solids by Windham Fabrics. This year’s quilt includes more intricate techniques such as curved piecing, strip piecing, and no-tear paper piecing. Come learn how to sew! This class is for ages 6-17. Parents, please plan to drop off and pick up your kids! In this 2 hour class we go over the basics of machine sewing. There is no experience required for this class.

This beginner 4 week class is perfect for all 1st-4th graders! We make 1-2 projects each month, and these projects change from month to month. In the Aug-Sept session, students will make a zippered pencil case and simple A-line dress. In the Sept-Oct session, students will make a tote bag and a skirt. In the Oct-Nov session, students will make an apron and drawstring backpack. In the Nov-Dec session, students will make PJ pants and a simple plushie. All supplies are included in the course fee, and students will be able to select their own fabric for the project. This class meets for 90 minutes each week; students will not have a finished project each week.

Sewing for 5th–8th Grade $160 per 4-Week Session Meets Once a Week for 1.5 Hours This class is designed for students ready to enhance their sewing skills with more challenging projects that cover garment construction, pattern reading, and basic alterations. Rising 1st-6th grade Advanced Camp Make a sleep mask and matching pajama pants Students will make pajama pants and a sleep mask while building sewing skills with garments and small detailed projects. A great next step for kids ready for more independence at the machine.

All levels welcome! In this 3-day camp (9:30 AM–1:00 PM), students will create a zipper pouch and a garment while learning garment construction and pattern skills. All supplies and machine use included.

These are rare and only added to help for unforeseen illness or emergencies. A teacher must enroll you. This is only for longer ongoing weekly classes.

Open sew is a great time to get things done and have fun with others in the sewing community. There is NO instruction during open sew, just use of the space. Discounted machine rental fees apply unless you have already rented a machine for class and open sew is during/after the duration of your class. Drop in at any time.
