Periodic Table of Quilting and Emboridery

Welcome to the Periodic Table of Quilting and Embroidery! Typically, when we hear the words ‘periodic table,’ we immediately think of science class and the table of elements. However, it is not the scientific elements which ignite our creativity, but the elements of embroidery and quilting. You won’t find any halogens or noble gases in this table – instead you will find some of your favorite embroidery notions and techniques! You don’t have to be a chemist to appreciate the beautiful results of this quilt!

Since we don’t have an atomic number by which to arrange the blocks, we have arranged them in a way more cohesive with the subject matter. These blocks can be combined into a periodic quilt, a wall hanging in the shape of a sewing machine, or framed and used as artwork perfect for your sewing room! The embroidered designs can be added to totes and clothing. The possibilities are truly endless since there is no ‘correct’ order for the quilt blocks.

In this collection you will find each element made as a standard quilt block with a fun and unique stippled background. Each element also comes with an isolated design so you can add your favorite element to clothing or home decor. We used a large variety of colors for our blocks so each element can be as unique as the technique or notion it describes.

Grab your lab coats and goggles and enjoy this new collection!
