* Just the Basics with Sewing Children's Clothes: Boys and Girls

Want to make your child's clothes? Come take this sewing class where we will be making a kids pattern for ages 6 months to 6 years. The options for this class are the Robert Shorts/Pants (boy/girl pattern) or the Lucy Jumper (girl pattern). This class INCLUDES an introduction to the sewing machine, so no Just the Basics is required. 

You will need no supplies the first week of class; the teacher will go over all the sewing tools and notions that you will need for the course the first day! A machine rental is included in the cost of the class, there is no discount for bringing your own machine.

You should expect to spend $75-100 on general sewing supplies and materials for the class. This will include but is not limited to fabric scissors, straight pins, marking tools, a tape measure, the garment pattern, and the fabric for the garment. These are supplies that will need to be brought to class each week.

• Please purchase all class fabric and notions from our store.  It helps us keep offering these awesome classes. Remember, class fees just cover the teachers and advertising—your purchases keep our doors open!

• Clean up after yourself before you leave. Pick up those runaway threads, take your belongings, and drop fabric scraps you don't want in the bins. Not sure where to toss drinks or wrappers? Just ask—we have a bin for that!
