Beginning Smocking

In this class you will learn the beginning stitches for Geometric Smocking. Included will be a step-by-step instruction booklet for creating basic smocking stitches. Stitches that will be taught are Cable, Wave, Baby Wave and Trellis. You will also learn how to tie off an insert to prepare it for smocking and inserting into a garment. The kit for the class will include a Beginning Smocking Book, pre pleated insert, needles and thread.
