Retro Ornaments
Retro Ornaments uses quarter circle blocks to make a festive holiday quilt. Inspired by holiday baubles, this quilt can match your decor and tree! Quilting with curved blocks make for stunning and whimsical quilts, as well as a chance to level-up one's quilt piecing skills.
Homework will be required, since this is a workshop. We will start the quilt together, and you will finish it independently.
Due to the type of patterns, these quilts are best suited for solid fabrics, blender fabrics, or non-directional small prints.
Please come into the store before your class starts to pick out your fabric. The class focuses on completing the quilt top.
SUPPLIES:
-Basic sewing supplies (thread, seam ripper, pins, marking tool, etc.)
-Rotary Cutter
-Sewing machine
-Fabric according to chosen pattern (MUST be purchased at Five Eighth Seams)
Optional Supplies:
-1/4" piecing foot
-Ruler (6 x 24, or any size quilting ruler)
The pattern is included in the class fee!
All materials for the class must be purchased at Five Eighth Seams.
This is an adult (18+) only class.
