Getaway Quilt, Homecoming Quilt, and Summer Pop Quilt

Fancy a summer Getaway from the comfort of your sewing machine? Choose between a City Trip, Mountain Trip, or Beach Trip Getaway. This pattern is a choose-your-own adventure, where simple blocks turn around to make three striking quilts. 
Perhaps all you can think about is coming home when you're on a trip; Homecoming might be the pattern for you. Choose between a multicolor or monochromatic accent to match whatever style "home" is for you! 
If your favorite part of Summertime is sweet treats by the pool, the simple and sweet Summer Pop pattern may be your pattern of choice. This can be made in fun colors inspired by your favorite Popsicles, including a patriotic pop variation. 

In this four week, 2.5 hour course, students may choose between the Getaway Quilt, Homecoming, or Summer Pop pattern from Lo and Behold Stitchery. Students may make either quilt in any variation, in their preferred size. Homework will be required, especially for the larger quilt sizes. 

The Getaway quilt uses on point blocks, modified log cabin blocks, blocks cut on the bias, seam matching, and changing the layout of the blocks to make three different quilts from one pattern. Homecoming uses either four accent colors, or just one accent color to make the design your own. Like its sister quilt, Homecoming uses the same techniques, as well as plays with different color options. Choose four accent colors to match the colors of your home, or choose just one accent color and show school spirit through your fabric choices. Summer Pop features strip piecing, modified snowballs, and sashing techniques to make adorable Popsicle blocks. 

Due to the type of patterns, these quilts are best suited for solid fabrics or blender fabrics.
Please come into the store before your class starts to pick out your fabric. The class focuses on completing the quilt top.

SUPPLIES: 
-Basic sewing supplies (thread, seam ripper, pins, marking tool, etc.)
-Rotary Cutter
-Sewing machine

Optional Supplies:
-1/4" piecing foot
-Ruler (6 x 24, or any size quilting ruler)
