Shirring
Class level: beginner and up; Must have taken Just the Basics
Ages 17 and up
In this class, students will learn the basics of shirring panels of fabric or waistbands to add to garments to ensure a comfortable yet shapely fit. In this class, students will practice shirring techniques to master the skill so they may apply it to future projects. Materials needed: fabric, elastic thread, regular thread, sewing machine, sewing supplies. Single session class.
