Quilting 101

A quilt is a great project for using up scrap fabric or to use small cuts of fabrics, such as fat quarters.

In this class, students will learn to make a simple quilt top using simple square or rectangle templates. Any size square or rectangle quilting ruler is fine to use to design the quilt.

Materials needed: various cuts of fabric to be cut into quilting pieces. We will go over this in the first class. We will discuss how to plan a quilt as well.

SUPPLIES:
-Basic sewing supplies (thread, seam ripper, pins, seam gauge, etc.)
