Designed for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this class will guide you through the process of creating a quilt top using just 3 yards of fabric. You'll learn to read rulers for accurate fabric cutting, follow a cut list, and master essential piecing techniques like strip piecing, half-square triangles, snowballs, sashing, and borders. We’ll cover how to true up blocks, press seams correctly (an often-overlooked detail that can significantly impact how well your quilt comes together), and assemble your blocks and rows by following detailed diagrams. Make a floor pouf that you can hide your stuffed animals in. This will have a zipper opening to store stuffed animals in or you can stuff it. In this 3 day course students will select their projects with the guidance of the instructors. A registration form is required for this class. Open sew is a great time to get things done and have fun with others in the sewing community. There is NO instruction during open sew, just use of the space. Discounted machine rental fees apply unless you have already rented a machine for class and open sew is during/after the duration of your class. Drop in at any time.

Whether your child is brand new to sewing or has taken classes before, they’ll have fun learning and growing their skills in a supportive environment.
Beginner Camps (Rising 1st-4th & 5th-8th Grades)
A great starting point for students new to sewing or those needing a refresher. Even if they’ve attended in previous years, we offer new pattern options to keep things engaging!

Cancellation Policy:
Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson to receive a full refund. If you have not paid for the class yet, you will still be billed for it. We kindly ask that you pay ahead of time when possible to secure your lesson.
